Yeah, I had this issue recently. I rang Foxtel and they helped me fix it. Unplug your Foxtel box. Remove smart card. Turn Foxtel box back on. Unplug it again. Put the smart card back in. Turn it on yet again. That fixed it for me.Have wiped the gold chip on the back of the card, reinserted it with the Foxtel side uppermost. Have the same message on the screen. 'There is a problem reading the smartcard.
