I got an actual NFC Reader/Writer (previously I was only using my Android), along with a dozen NTAG216 stickers and a dozen NTAG215 stickers. I stumbled onto this site: https://nfc.toys which was an initiative for hacking amiibos to do other things.
The program makes the reader/writer module essentially plug and play. The program lets you set a whole list of Amiibo you want to flash at once. You can backup your Amiibos using it, hence the reader aspect of it.
Since the n3ds has a perfectly capable NFC reader, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to, but the ctrulib API only seems to support loading amiibo data. Is there any way of reading raw data? And to write as well?
